I have worked as a professional who has successfully dealt with people for more than 35 years. Prior to becoming a professional, I gained experience in a variety of jobs that included working in a warehouse, and performing inventory control in a small business.
Througout my first professional career, I practiced life-long learning, and I followed a professional code of ethical conduct. During this period of time, I gained considerable experience in leadership, resource management, planning, business planning and marketing. For example, some of my experience included being:
A leader and manager who was responsible for 20, then 100, people in a small organization;
A planner who was responsible for the preparation of a variety of plans for an organization of 2000 people;
A Project Director who was responsible for dozens of projects that ranged in value from several hundred thousand dollars to tens of millions of dollars;
A strategic planner for an organization of 2500 people;
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of an organization of 210 people;
A Program Director responsible for several multi-billion dollar programs;
The Deputy CEO for a diverse regional organization located in the US;
The Vice Director General and senior Canadian planner for a multinational organization;
The person who was responsible to the CEO for the creation and marketing of a vision and plan to modernize and transform a large organization over the near, mid and longer term;
The Chief of Staff - Operations of an organization of 85,000 people; and
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a large multi-national organization that was headquartered in the US and supported by organizations around the globe.
After retiring from my first 35-year professional career, I moved to the Comox Valley and became licensed as a REALTOR®. Some of my friends and associates have asked me why. I made this change for two reasons. First, throughout my first professional career, I enjoyed working with people from all walks of life, and I enjoyed providing a high-level of service to people in many different capacities. Second, I moved my family all across North America and I gained considerable experience as a real estate client. This experience provided me with a good appreciaton of the types of things that I looked for and avoided in a real estate agent. For example, among other things, I wanted to ensure that the agent cared about me and not just the sale, that they had time for me and gave me their time, that they communicated honestly and regularly with me, and that they would work hard for me. Given my earlier experiences as a real estate client I understand how much of a difference a good REALTOR® can make, and I am committed to make a difference for my clients by providing them with caring, 1st Class professional real estate services to most effectively meet their needs.

What sets me apart?
This is a question that I often asked real estate agents when I was a client. When someone asks me this question my response is: a combination of my motivation; my life experience; and my approach. While I will not discuss the details on this webpage I will provide a very general sense of my overall approach below.
